Scouts District Exec Meeting
As some of you may, or may not, be aware I am involved with the Scout movement. It has been a tempestuous relationship with plenty of highs and lows.
Today I attended a District Executive Meeting, which is about as exciting as it sounds but does make lots of important decisions for the whole district – so something well worth attending. As with all things it is a little daunting attending your first one and I’ll probably find out soon exactly how much of my time helping to support the District will take.
I am always amazed at how much time the ‘more full time’ members of Scouting can actually give to the movement, I find it daunting giving the measly amount of time that I do give!
